Cassidy Putney


Cassidy Putney is a senior Public Policy student with a minor in Environmental Sustainability at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). She currently serves as the Co-founder and President of RIT’s Student Environmental Action League and is Chair of the Student Sustainability Oversight Committee.

Cassidy is an intern at the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) in New York City in the Multifamily program ​and soon will work alongside the Town of Brighton and its Sustainability Oversight Committee as the lead writer for their Climate Action Plan. She has helped create Impact Earth, a company dedicated to zero waste.
